With over 25 years of extensive experience in Consulting, Change Management, Learning and Development, Human Resources, Leadership, and Strategy, she has built a successful career that effectively connects practice and theory through applied research. 

Elsie holds a UI Master in Managerial Psychology, is a certified HR Professional from UNISA, Pretoria, a full member of CIPM, Nigeria, a professional member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD, USA) and Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD, UK), pioneer General Secretary of the Learning & Development Network International (LDNI), and a member of the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology (SIOP, USA). She is a Ph.D. graduate of Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology from Capella University, Minneapolis, where she explored the dynamics of a multi-generational workforce, work values, intra-organizational networks, perception of organizational politics, and employee turnover intentions. She was awarded a lifetime honorary membership of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, based on her academic excellence. Elsie has worked with conglomerates, multi-nationals, and indigenous organizations such as DHL, MTN, FilmoRealty, and Churchgate Group. 

She is currently the Chief People Officer at Layer3. In the learning and development circle, she is known as “Dr Soft Skills” or “The HR Psychologist” due to how she simplifies and practicalizes psychological subjects (soft skills) like mental toughness, emotional intelligence, and personalities styles, and more. Her flagship training on the “Unspoken Rules of Engagement” continues to be in demand, alongside her customized employee development program tagged “Making Work Work.” Dr. Elsie is a keynote speaker, presenter, board advisor, a coach and mentor to a growing list of proteges, managers, and entrepreneurs
